Review on Piston Rebuild Kit for Softener 60102 00 with Spacers by Brandon Miller

This is a good recovery kit. I, like anyone with a Fleck 5600, will tell you that this is a very easy repair job. The YouTube guy took 8 minutes from start to finish. I took my time and it took 15 because I really took my time. So, on my old rubber washers that's wedged between these plastic valves, well, they've been shot through. I'm not sure when I installed this Fleck unit, maybe 5-7 years ago? In any case, for me as for others, this main valve was difficult to open. Poor little electric motor. After installing the kit and lubricating it with a generous amount of sanitary grease, this valve opens and closes very well. I hope this little electric motor is happy, I am happy. Same goes for the other spring valve show. Old, springy, hard to compress. Took this guy out, looked for the inner rubber washer, installed new parts. I mentioned plumber's lube. Do not forget it.
