I bought the item in open packaging and it was obviously a return. All of the contents were there, but you could see the screw marks on the sensor assembly where it was previously installed. This didn't bother me as I put the screws in the exact same spot but the sensor didn't work and I suspect that was the reason for the return. I've already routed all the cables and the air hose, so instead of taking it off and sending it in for a replacement, I called Air;ift. They asked for my order number and then sent a brand new dashboard which arrived a few days later. I didn't have to send the old one back. The whole device works as it should and is not as loud as others have complained about. I installed the compressor under the back seat of my double cab truck. You can hear it, but it doesn't disturb conversations in the cockpit.
