I'm not a big music lover, but I can say that this DAC is better than my built-in sound card. It works great with my ATH-M50x. I appreciate the 1/4" jack instead of the nifty 3.5mm headphone jack. I wish the whole body was silver but you get what you pay for. The volume knob clicks and has tactile feedback when rotated. All in all a great unit for the price and an obvious buy for anyone looking for a cheap DAC!
