We had a new puppy who hadn't had all his vaccinations but wanted to take him on longer hikes with our adult dog. That fits the bill. Unfortunately the pup will soon outgrow it but we expected that as he will weigh over 50lbs. In general, we use it for almost a month. It would have been better if there was some sort of halter clip in the back to help him stay upright while he leaned forward to lean forward and let me know the awkward position of his lungs. We liked the bottom tail hole and the boys were surprised by the camouflage look. The straps aren't the most comfortable, but we didn't have any issues with them or the Velcro. It was actually relatively easy to pick up and take out, which was great. Maybe I can get one of my cats to ride it?
