I bought 3 of these from my local Lowe's to fit all interior doors. The doors in my house are hollow and I wasn't sure if this product would be a good choice. I called customer service on the number listed on the package and the representative I spoke to was exceptionally helpful. Doors and installation is a breeze. I don't have a jigsaw so I used a rotary tool with a multipurpose cutting attachment to cut out the doors. Including unpacking, measuring, using the "wrong" tool, cutting the core, removing the doors and installing, each installation took about 45 minutes. I removed the sashes and ties as my cats have never used a pet. door earlier. The shutters simply slide back into place. The latches screw in, so if you remove them and change your mind, you'll have to disassemble the unit to replace them. Me and my cats are very happy with this product.
