Quality can be affordable

After using this tool on several cars for more than a week. We've come to the conclusion that we really enjoy using this tool and all the accessories. The tool is much slimmer than previous tools we have purchased from SPTA. This tool has enough power and RPM for both beginners and pros, but I can see that some customers don't like that it doesn't have the RPM that its competitors have. You never have to use the tool at full speed to get the finish you want, especially when working with high quality products. That conversation took place with a couple of paintbrushes, a couple of Alan's head books and an allen wrench in the owner's manual, which is really nice if you ever need to work with a preventive tool. The polish and mix work quite well, have a decent smell and are long lasting. compared to some of the high quality products we have used. Polish and compound are not our first choices but we will continue to use these products to see which replacement part seals work best with these products. We have long been fans of these orange and black polishing pads. They are available in two sizes: 5" baseplate and 6" baseplate. The orange pads give you plenty of catch but also a pretty good finish, especially when you factor in the working time that the polish that comes with this kit has. The black pads are very suitable for a finish wax or polish, especially for sensitive pain. However, you will need to constantly clean these pads as product will fall into them as the black pads are really very soft and not designed for high RPM or heat. The tool also comes with a zoo of sandpaper in different grits and 2 different sizes, 5" small and 6" large, both are very good if you plan to use this tool for sanding wood or raw metal, but I would do not recommend these paint products or anything else on the vehicle you wish to finish unless attempting to repaint. One of our favorite accessories in this kit is the polishing pad cleaning tool that we have previously purchased and some of these were very expensive, reaching over $25 for the tool. On a soft wax pad this tool will be one of the most used tools in the workshop as a clean buffing pad means a better finish. Also the kid had microfiber cloths, I would describe them more as glass cleaners but they work very well for removing paint and compound from a painted surface, they really seem to do my homework quality and I bought them direct from parts and they are a thing of the past and they have worked great and survived quite a few wash cycles. We first opened the packaging and found that the quality of the bag that everything is transported in was actually very high quality, even more expensive than some of the previous bags I've bought from big companies. The apron it came with was really thick and strong and also the apron isn't very big like some of the other companies I've bought which tends to make it flexible and prevents the Saipan from being the perfect size. I'm 5 feet. 9 cm tall and fits me perfectly. My overall conclusion for this cat is that you get a lot more than you pay for if it was just a tool. I could pay that price for the tool, the case and just the polishing pad cleaning tool but there are many more accessories in this set and I think that's the value. The polish takes a little getting used to, especially if you're a beginner, but Abran and the whole set in general I'll probably consider getting another here in the near future.
