My family LOVES Left-Center-Right and plays fifteen minutes every time there's a party and I'll admit I've never liked it. I'm not a fan of games where there is no choice, skill or strategy. It's a gamble, nothing more. HOWEVER, the left middle right wild symbol fixes this by replacing one of the three "dotted" sides with a "wild" side. This means that every time you roll a wild, you can choose a person to steal a chip from. When ALL wilds show up, you get the Central Bank. It adds choice, strategy, and a sense of recklessness to the game. However, I think that even in this form of the LCR has some problems. I threw away all the wilds and ended up with a central bank almost full as the game neared its end. But even with that advantage, I lost every quarter because that's the nature of the game. Even if you have all the chips and are ahead, you will most likely lose them all. The ultimate winner seems to be completely random in each game. Some people enjoy completely random gambling. If you do, you might like this one. I'm just glad there's a version that I really enjoy playing since I'm forced to anyway.
