I have a manure rust stained patch here in Florida. Yes, these are spots, not a fixed area. The cobblestones were sealed about 12 months ago, but admittedly the sun is quite intense here all year round and I suspect the process of UV radiation breaks down much faster here than at higher latitudes. I also suspect that the 'mixture' used for coarse pavers is significantly more porous than for sidewalks and driveways. As a result, I believe the rust settles deeper than just the surface. I sprayed my first gallon on stains between showers today (4 days old now). I thought the first shower had dampened the grass edges, although the solution was fairly easy to spray directly onto the patches without much overspray. I sprayed each stain just enough to be more than wet. I didn't rinse it out, just let it soak in and dry. About 90 minutes later the next downpour came with several violent moments. The result was a spot of lightening, but some reviews didn't see the 5-minute wonder here. However, for $11, change, and easy application, I've already ordered a second gallon to see if I get additional relief on my next application. If I remember, I'll update this review in about a week. Today I made the second spray. Continued Lighting. The very superficial spots are almost invisible now, but those that were very dark are still clearly visible. I'm guessing right now that I might need 5 uses (assuming a constant rate of progression) but I'm just ordering 2 more gallons for now just in case divine providence blesses me. review readers. Please note that this product is likely to be much more effective. on truly non-porous surfaces. If you have stains that have penetrated the surface, you may need more than one application.
