. I had no idea how small it was and it never occurred to me that it was really meant to be permanently in one Panel to be installed permanently (but battery operated! ). I bought it to measure the temperature when brewing beer when preparing a yeast sourdough. If the switches (at least for turning on and off) were a button on the front and could be operated with your fingers, I'd keep this one (and I'd love the fact that it's very small. But the switches are on the back AND require the use of a probe (Note: I never tested it as it was mechanically too bulky) I returned it The fact that the on and off buttons are on the back and require a probe to to activate them, as well as the dimensions.
