Tiny. Hard to turn on/off switch

. I had no idea how small it was and it never occurred to me that it was really meant to be permanently in one Panel to be installed permanently (but battery operated! ). I bought it to measure the temperature when brewing beer when preparing a yeast sourdough. If the switches (at least for turning on and off) were a button on the front and could be operated with your fingers, I'd keep this one (and I'd love the fact that it's very small. mine was not exactly

I tested this device. In a cup with 80% ice and the rest of the water. It should have read 32.0F. These readings were 35.8. Using boiling water, readings were on the high end of 212F, sometimes as high as 213F. The device says it has been calibrated but the error is higher than I expected. Other than that, it seems to be working fine.
