In Windows 10 the driver not only didn't work but also disabled the built-in webcam. I was able to get it working with Device Manager and force it to use the driver that came with my computer and restart it after plugging in the microscope. It also seems to work without a reboot if I just start amcap with the webcam selected and then plug in the microscope. I got it working on my old Samsung tablet with CameraFi2 but not on my new phone. The phone has the necessary hardware support, which leads me to suspect that the USB to USB-C adapter may be defective. As for the Raspberry Pi, I searched a lot before I found a program that works, it's the guvcview program but it doesn't work. working until I found another post about what command line options can be used, which can be added both to the shortcut and from the command line. more like 200X, Update: I'm running it on Raspberry Pi and both guvcview and Cheese stop working and after much searching I've found that I need to kill the misbehavior process to get it working again. sudo killall -9 motion you may also need to kill guvcview sudo killall -9 guvcview
