I am very satisfied with this compatible printer drum. It's very quiet (no squeaks or squeaks) and I've got duplex printing back too. Also, I have not noticed any difference in print quality between the original (1 year old) toner/drum assembly and the new toner/replacement drum assembly. By the way, this is the third drum I've replaced in this printer in the last few years. Two of the replacement parts were compatible and one was a Brother OEM. The OEM worked fine, but the previous two replacements had issues. The first didn't last very long and the second kept beeping (very annoying) and neither could print double-sided without constantly jamming. I was debating whether to buy OEM or compatible and due to the cost I decided on compatible. I inspected the drum when I first unpacked it. The roller and the surface were brand new, there were no stains on it. The bottom roller looked new with no "false" deformation. I put the toner in, installed it in the printer, then restarted the printer and the Presto prints like new. It's been up for about a month now and I've printed about 1000 sheets with it and still have no problems. I am satisfied and will buy again.
