Bought these for my lakeside dock. Installed the white ones, ordered a second smaller set, then ordered the blue ones to outline the area specific to the boat docking area so it is easy to see and evident when returning after dark. These lights are bright but not glaring. They can be seen across the lake but are more subtle than some of the annoying spotlights I’ve seen on other docks. The light focuses on the deck floor and clearly outlines the edges of the deck to guide steps at night but do not light up the deck area itself. I put them about 3-4 feet apart which seems perfect for a continuous guide. These do not light up above ones ankles so don’t count on them to light your table.These are very sturdy and strong. I imagine them lasting for years. I wouldn’t hesitate driving over them with my car if I put them along my driveway - which I’m thinking about doing. I don’t regret the money I spent, and would do it again for another area. Great product!UPDATE: The lights have been on my boat dock for two years and are still going as strong as Day 1. Pictures show lights glowing strong at sundown and as the moon sets.
