I ordered this tarp as a temporary cover for my pets in the garden. Our house is brand new and the back yard is full of dirt and rocks. So far it has withstood the claws of my German shepherd and cat who walk on it all day. Definitely water-repellent because when it rains, water accumulates on it for a long time. Mind you, I've looked at a lot of tarps and this one had generally positive reviews. Now I know why! Updated 5/2/2020 The tarpaulin is still holding tight with a few holes. Exceeded my expectations!
