Review on 🍒 Schwarzkopf Simply Color, 4.68 Chocolate Cherry Hair Color by Angel Gibson

If people who make this color see it, please don't stop making it! This is the best color I've ever used. I'm growing out a pixie cut. After not seeing my natural hair color in over 20 years, I decided to find out what it is. After doing that, I immediately went to the store looking for something to dye the nightmare that was my hair; a mixture of salt and pepper and an old orange. It was terrible. The first thing I noticed was the packaging. I appreciate that it is biodegradable and recyclable. Then I noticed that the time you leave on your hair is longer than 'regular' dyes, which to me means they are gentler on your hair, and they were. I left it at the recommended 30 and rinsed it out. My hair is very thin and delicate so I have to be careful with it. From the moment I took the towel off my head, I knew I loved this color. First, yes, as I saw in another review, the new growth is very bright! For me it was almost a dark purple color that I loved. The same purple color combined with the gray in my hair giving it a really cool looking purple-brown accent, while the rest of my hair was dyed a lovely chocolate brown. I don't find it too dark nor too light. It's very soft, which I appreciate. I never had a headache in the 30 minute wait. What can not be said about other colors for crates. The smell wasn't bad at all. If you've ever used Clairol, you've lost nose hair multiple times. It's NOT like that. It's very pretty and when you wash it out your hair doesn't feel like straw until you put that conditioner on it. I rinsed mine in cold water and was very gentle with it before conditioning, but I still think the color is very, very gentle. This color is AMAZING and even my boyfriend loves it. He even asked me to come over to the patio door where he could view it in natural light and told me how cool the maroon stripes are. I am very happy with this color and will continue to use it as long as they keep it on the market. And hey, if the people who do this are reading this, MAKE STAY CHOCOLATE CHERRY! lolUpdate: my color was fading and I had the box so thought I'd give it another try. The only thing I missed the first time I tried it was not having to shampoo my hair after I gave up. I usually use a cleansing conditioner rather than a shampoo, but I didn't realize I had to skip this step and go straight to the conditioner that came with it. No shampoo needed! In the second collage, the first photo is a month after using this dye for the first time. I tried to include his image during the processing step so you can see it doesn't get too red. I'm happy with the afterimage, although it's a bit darker at the ends I expected them to be good and absorb color slightly. It slowly fades over the course of a month but I am very happy with this product because it is very gentle on my hair and I love the color.
