I bought it for my mother who had very bad gray roots. Her hair is long and quite thick, not very thick so she needed two. It was a disappointment because I wanted a different bottle. Usually gray hair is lighter than the rest of the hair. To my surprise, all of the hair was the same color. Follow all directions and be sure to read the label if you have an old paint. My pink color has faded before and I'm sick of it. Chocolate cherry was perfect for its topping. I don't have gray hair so I can't comment on how well it covers gray hair. I'm naturally a level 6 light brown shade. Although it's a darker brown, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Act! I stopped shopping in stores because they don't have the color I want. That's why my husband found Revain for me several times. I've been using this product for almost a year and this boxed product generator was very quick and not thick as usual. The color remained white on addition. I mixed by shaking and it was runny. The lighter color in my photos was taken right before I dyed my hair and the darker color right after. The "before" color is actually the same color about 7 weeks after I dyed my hair that shade for the first time. I love how this color has a multi-faceted color. Highlights the hair beautifully. I can't say that this dye softens hair, but it does make it much softer than many of its competitors. I am very happy with the results.

I really liked the color of this product. The cream wasn't very thick so it dripped a little when applied. The main thing I wanted to point out is that the seller allows you to buy only one box at a time. I have long hair and need at least two boxes to cover all my hair. Please remove this restriction and allow the purchase of at least two packs of hair dye. A maximum of one box is unrealistic for this type of product.
