This filter has served me well for 2 years now. I could do without paper filters. However, what I have found is that after 2 years of daily use, my filter's double layer is starting to clog a bit and I cannot clean it enough to restore it to its original condition. So I immediately ordered another one. This is certainly not a complaint. I have found that now when I try to filter the second cup of coffee the filtering stops. So if I don't take the material out of the first cup and clean it thoroughly, it won't filter my second cup. I'm sure I'll find a use for this filter among the many projects I have. And in fact I found the price a bit lower than when I bought it two years ago. So if you have any questions about how it works for you, huh, it works fine.
