Review on BOXI Thermostat Thunderbird 2000 2002 XW4Z8592AA by Mark Glass

Whilst this part was clearly designed for these engines it will not work on the Jaguar XJ8 (the car I worked on was a 2003). The factory body has a slight forward tilt towards the vertical part - this device has no such tilt, instead it looks perfect at a 90 degree angle to the base. Also, this car doesn't use the optional smaller hose ridge on the side. The odd thing is that many other websites are selling essentially the same part as a replacement for the Jaguar XJ8 and it will NOT fit. I ended up having to go to the OEM (or is there an aluminum company that matches the OEM design for Jaguar). Aside from the fact that it's clearly not for the car I need it for, it appeared to be a well made part, including the thermostat and gaskets. Didn't even bother to return it as I used a thermostat from him with an OEM case I had to buy.
