I bought this remote control to replace the one my dog ate. I have a VSB200 soundbar and wanted to buy a spare remote so I didn't have to get up every time I wanted to turn down the volume! This remote control is very similar to the one that comes with the VSB200 but also has additional control options. These settings did not affect my old subwoofer, but may affect yours or others' settings. The range of this remote seems better than my old one, but be aware I bought a used unit. Although the range is longer it's still not the greatest but this may be down to the VSB200 block itself which had a factory defect in the form of plastic blocking the receiver block. All in all, the size, price and slightly extended range justify the purchase of this device.
