I used to use the Culligan faucet filter in my main sink simply because I like to wash my face and teeth with clean water. The Culligan brand broke for me after a few days, not to mention leaking constantly. This was MUCH easier to install BUT you really have to play around with the rubber rings. For example, the instructions say: Put a small black one on the faucet and a big black one on the filter. I did this and my faucet was leaking. Then I switched to a red rubber circle and the leak stopped once and for all! The water smells and tastes great! Make sure you do not use HOT water as water that is too hot will destroy the device. I always use warm water, just don't turn on hot water. For $11 I also bought 4 replacement cartridges which should last a year along with the cartridge that came with the kit as they recommend changing the filter after either 200 gallons or 3 months of use. And since I don't use rinsing water every hour, but 3-4 times a day, I'll probably stick to a 3-month shift.
