Review on 🔑 Enhanced KeylessEntry Remote Control Key Fob Replacement - HYQ1512V Compatible by Justin Albright

I bought this key/remote for a 2002 IS300. It came with a key (immobilizer) programming guide which worked great on the first try. The problem was that there were no instructions in the kit for programming the remote control on the IS300. It had instructions for several other Lexus, but not the IS300. So I'm deducting a star for that. It didn't really matter because I had already printed out some instructions which I found easily online (first hit on google). I really had trouble programming with this guide because it said to use the electric door switch for the programming sequence, but my door locks get stuck if I lock/unlock too many times in a row, interrupting the programming sequence. Eventually I found out that you can also manually lock/unlock the door with a mechanical switch to complete the programming sequence. Once I figured that out, it was very easy to program the remote. I currently have a new remote in my old cracked case/blade. I need to find someone who can cut this new blade without skinning me.
