Review on ๐Ÿš— MOOG K6693 Ball Joint: Superior Performance and Durability for Enhanced Vehicle Control by Kevin Kimbrough

I do not think so! fits spare parts

As everyone knows, replacing ball joints is usually not a pleasant experience. While the MOOG suspension parts are highly rated, I can't give these lower ball joints more than 3 stars on my 2005 2500HD. Why? MOOG has an issue with the dust cover. The dust cover on one of my MOOG ball joints didn't fit, despite the MOOG service bulletin for installing their dust boots. I did everything MOOG recommended and more after paying to have the ball joint pressed into my forearm. I finally took the punch and abandoned the new ball joint plan and bought a brand new forearm with new bushings and the ball joint already installed. To be fair to MOOG, I bought the lower ball joint in 2012 as I ride a lot and always have spares. So I have a new ball joint on an old arm with a new dust boot that doesn't fit and has now snapped trying to fit it to the base of the ball joint. MOOG is aware of this issue as their service bulletin is clearly a futile attempt to put the burden on a poor customer. No thank you!
