Great item - replacement parts

Item looked great but the Moog box it arrived in was wrecked. As a result, the unused portion received a refund. A little tip - just order a whole control arm and save yourself the hassle.

Cons
  • Good but not great

This was exactly what I ordered

This was requested by my mechanic along with numerous parts to get the front end back to how it should be. All parts received on time. They fit as expected and my mechanic took advantage of every detail and was glad they were right. I will paste this review on all parts purchased for this renovation at the same time.

Mirror fitting engaged

I installed and finished the second page. I installed a Zerk fitting and THOUGHT I was very careful not to over tighten the fitting, but don't you know? It broke. Very annoying because the ball joint has to be pressed in and that's a lot of work. It would be too difficult to remove and send back for a refund. I would not recommend these.

Cons
  • The list is getting long.

a hole for a needle in a shoe. Doesn't hold fat.

Purchased and installed. Immediately I heard a squeak that I couldn't exactly identify. It cost me a lot to learn that there is a small hole in the driver's side ball joint boot that releases all the grease within a day or two of filling. This is a factory wedding. No crack from installation! Small hole. Not happy given the work involved in the re-exchange.

Cons
  • Useless features

This is a ball joint and it fits my truck

LOL how many stars for 'easy to install'. This is a load-bearing ball joint that is pressed into the steering knuckle of a four-wheel drive truck. I appreciate the easy installation. I also no longer rate products with stars according to "thickness". This is a quality product, it fits well and works as intended. I was under the impression that it would last as long as the original which is 275,000 miles.

Cons
  • operating speed

Works great but very difficult to get old

So you're looking to replace your lower ball joints? Well I did, and the first was PITA. It looked good, but when I took the knuckle apart I could move the old pivot slightly, so it was definitely bad. But actually I had to knock it off with a sledgehammer. Then heat it, with a sledgehammer and finally with a ball joint tool. Good luck, they seem to be working fine.

Pros
  • out<p>Constructed from high-quality materials and rigorously tested, MOOGยฎ ball joints provide dependable performance you can count on. MOOG's problem-solving innovations ensure quick and hassle-free installation.
Cons

I do not think so! fits spare parts

As everyone knows, replacing ball joints is usually not a pleasant experience. While the MOOG suspension parts are highly rated, I can't give these lower ball joints more than 3 stars on my 2005 2500HD. Why? MOOG has an issue with the dust cover. The dust cover on one of my MOOG ball joints didn't fit, despite the MOOG service bulletin for installing their dust boots. I did everything MOOG recommended and more after paying to have the ball joint pressed into my forearm. I finally took the punch

Cons
  • high price
