Review on πŸ“» WR383R AM/FM/Weather Radio with Built-In Flashlight by Weather X by Tiffany Lewis

Very useful during tornado seasons during power outages

Bought this for a family member. They said they really liked this weather radio. (I have one too, but the first one I bought from Walmart stopped working the same day I got it! The second one has been very good so far.) It works well and runs on 3 AA batteries. It doesn't wake you up with an alarm programmed for your area (like mid-range weather radios do), but most cell phones now do when they have a tornado warning. USB charging for phones must be AC power or a crank. A mobile phone can be charged not only with batteries through this USB. So don't plan on charging your phone during a power outage unless you're using the crank on the back, but it's better than nothing. But otherwise it is very useful in the stormy season. I like the flashlight, AM/FM radio, WB weather radio, all in one place with one touch. There's also a siren (if you get stuck in the rubble), a thermometer, sunlight appearing at the opposite end of the flashlight. And USB on the back, see above for information.
