I bought this for a friend after Hurricane Irma hit Southwest Florida. She didn't realize the value of weather radio until she got all her updates from us before, during and just after the storm. When he arrived, she was still without power in her area. She and her husband were delighted.

I was looking for a cheap weather radio and found this one. I am very happy with it. It runs on batteries, clockwork or mains. The flashlight is very bright, like a book lamp. It has surprisingly good sound quality for such a cheap radio. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of item.

Bought this for a family member. They said they really liked this weather radio. (I have one too, but the first one I bought from Walmart stopped working the same day I got it!
