Installed them on an E36 325i with Euro headlamps and 55w ballasts. Before installing the bulbs, I noticed a stain on one of the bulbs, as well as a crack in the body of the same bulb with a stain. From previous experience I've been told not to touch the bulb because hand oil could crack it when heated, so I decided not to try to clean the stain myself, but to install it as is and to see what i get. .They work as expected. The spot bulb (installed on the right in the picture) is a little warmer in color than the other side, but works. They are bright but take a few seconds to warm up, as with all lamps of this style. I'm pretty sure not every lightbulb has a stain, so if I'm just unlucky there's nothing to complain about. oh, especially since they were $12 and luckily I have a bulb from the last set that still works and it's the same color.
