I'm 6ft 7in, about 210lbs, shoe size 15, and I started wearing these shoes to work, to the gym and for short runs (3-6 miles) about 3 months before my marathon. I've run 15km in it and a few long runs before a marathon. I liked short runs, but the more time I spent in these shoes, the worse my feet felt. I had to run a marathon in my 2 year old Launch 3s because they were so sore in my legs I knew I couldn't finish them. The tongue of the right boot shifts sideways with normal wear, causing my toe to wear out without protection from the upper, and the left boot develops "hot spots" under the ball of the foot that are unbearable after 16 miles. My longest run in these. I've been running/running at Brooks for over 10 years and this is the first shoe to go straight to the trash. I won't even keep it for hiking or mowing the lawn. They look good but now I can't even wear them to work so my legs don't hurt at the end of the day. Very disappointed.
