So far this is EXACTLY what I needed and hasn't cost a fortune. Ease of use after reading all the instructions. A mini SD card is required. So note that you need a $2 mini SD adapter to insert the SD card and view it on your computer. Which I can highly recommend. Photos can also be viewed directly on the game camera, but the screen is small enough to see the animals in great detail. Captures great black and white photos and videos at night and great color photos and videos during the day. Can be set to take photos or videos, or both, and change settings to take more or fewer photos/videos as needed to save battery or SD card space. These attached photos have the default image quality, you can increase it if you want even more detailed images. We are NOT HUNTERS. We bought this while trying to get a feral cat that lives in a nearby park neutered. We set the camera up in different places with food and water to see where she was. Watching the other animals in the park come and face the camera (skunks, possums) was great fun even though we hadn't caught our elusive stray female yet. This works very well.
