Used 3 times. Everything was fine on the couch with only suction. My main goal was to get this ladder/brush attachment. However, after a few steps, the brush stopped rotating. The brush has been found to pick up hairs that have wrapped around the sides of the brush roll and fallen into the holes where the roll sits, causing them to bind and prevent the brush from rotating. I disassembled the nozzle, removed the brush roll, unwound all the hair, cleaned the holes, put the brush back in place and put everything back together. Like new and spins like a champ! I took 3 more steps and the brush stopped rotating again. Ready. If you have people with long, thick hair in your house (and we have 3 of them!), this vacuum cleaner is not for you. If you don't want to vacuum within 5 minutes, spend 40 minutes cleaning the brush roll, rinse and repeat.
