I bought this toaster because I liked the look and was intrigued by the defrost and reheat functions. I tried all functions. I toasted thick sourdough, raisin bread and traditional bread. Everything worked fine. I thawed the thickly sliced bread first and it toasted nicely. The toast levels correspond to the description. I like that the sides of the toaster get a little warm, but not so hot that I burn myself. The toaster is also equipped with a protective grid to prevent objects from falling into the appliance. I reheated the tortilla and it worked. It didn't burn any area and softened it up for me. I don't usually spend that much on a toaster, but this one is worth it.
