I can't remember the last time I hated a kitchen appliance so much. I should have heeded other reviewers' warnings, but I didn't. The thing made an awfully high pitched howl, the beaters wouldn't stay tight, they were too short to reach the bottom of a standard sized mixing bowl and the batter climbed to the top as others have pointed out. The heating function was also almost unusable. and he was huge and clumsy. Was so disappointed having waited over a year to purchase this as a treat for myself. A bowl of mixing and I can't send this thing back fast enough. I ended up buying another Axuan that I really liked and will review after spending some more time with it. So much for buying a big brand.
