This is a mixed review. They're really small and take about 30 minutes per stick. If you are surrounded by smoke then yes they seem to have reduced the number of mosquitoes that landed on me. If you are not near the smoke, they have no effect. After a while you will reach smoke and an odor (not unpleasant). And some people are more sensitive to smells. I don't think I would bury her again. You are too small. I could look for bigger ones at the big dollar store, but then again, you have to deal with the smoke problem.
