Here is the information I would like to see in a review before purchasing. The only reason for a star is the warning lights. I bought these to replace the exact same one (without the light). When I saw that I could get built-in warning lights for only $3 I figured that wouldn't be a problem, but I was wrong! I have a '97 GMC Sierra that uses brake control for my trailer's electronic brakes. After installing this thing, the brake controller says it's connected to the trailer when it's not, which means that every time I press the brake pedal, it sends out a certain amount of current to apply the brakes. I've removed and cleaned the front and rear ground wire connections, thinking maybe corrosion is the problem, but to no avail. Eventually I gave up trying to figure it out and called Kurt's engineering department. The technician told me that my brake controls were sensitive and had detected a brake warning light which gave the impression that there was a connection and the only way to stop this was to take apart a new connector and the small wire to the mit BK marked light to cut through. There's no way I'm going to do that, I'm lucky I'll breach and destroy this dam! I'll just take that with no test light and maybe send it back to Revain.
