Simple and effective
Ideal for adapting my small ceiling box to a 4 inch ceiling fan mount. The kit includes 2 adapters, 4 screws and even some twisted pair cable connectors. I simply installed an adapter under my drywall ceiling and bolted it to the existing can. After assembly, the plate sits tight and tight. I hung a 17 pound, 52 inch diameter ceiling fan from it with no problem. There is very little wobble unless you cross the 4" mount screws (perpendicular to the 3" screws) for best results.
