I almost bought a 3M Filtrete system mainly because 3M have been around almost forever and I expect their replacement cartridges to be the same but after calling 3M TWICE just to try Finding out that this system doesn't connect to a 1/2" water line and can't get a straight answer, but that I'm not a fan of hoses and pressure fittings, I went with Frizzlife. So I'm glad I did 1) I have braided stainless steel hoses from the water inlet to the faucet No pipes, fittings etc etc big enough to stand on, it worked better for me 3) I like the fact that it rotates 1/4 turn and doesn't have to turn off the water to change the filter.4) It doesn't hurt that replacement cartridges will soon be 2/3 the price all others cost.5) Frizzlif e includes all parts needed to connect to water supply and a 3/8" or 1/2" faucet. It's been running for a few days now and the water tastes like it should be clean. One reviewer wrote about the "milky" water that comes out. Of course, first of all yes, FULL AIR. If you run the water for just a few minutes, it cleans perfectly and it's great water. After taking my old filter out, it literally took 5 minutes max to plug it in. I'm glad I bought Frizzlife!
