Emile Henry ceramic cookware was one of those kitchen items that really made a difference. In the past we have used different shapes for baking - glass, other ceramics etc - which we bought mainly because of the price. With Emile Henry's "Baking Pans" we have found that the same dishes that we have cooked in a different, lower quality baking pan turn out significantly better with Emile Henry. So much so that I would say it's not even a comparison. Lasagna, casseroles, and simple things like macaroni and cheese are so much better, it's hard to believe. Emile Henri delivers even heat and avoids any issues with burnt bottom/top, cooking outside but not inside, pasta overcooking, etc. I highly recommend this line of products. Another product that was much better was the homemade cakes and bread. What's the difference - and worth the money. The only downside is that they are ceramic and are a bit brittle if not handled properly so they can shatter if dropped or hit hard on something, but that's to be expected.
