Review on 🔍 Mann-Filter Metal-Free Oil Filter HU 925/4 X by Joel Mosqueda

I was reluctant to order this as it was a lot cheaper than OEM and at the same price or cheaper than a number of discount dealership brands. I did a little research and decided on this after reading a number of forum comments recommending it. When it arrived a few days later, it was well packaged and in perfect condition. Because BMW filters don't have a cap, I was able to compare the internal structure of the filters to some other filters I've seen in parts stores. Suffice it to say I'm glad I made the choice to do this. The MANN filter media looked/felt firmer and the end caps are plastic rather than paper on most standard discount brands (ie should last 10,000 miles). I can't compare it to the original as the oil was changed by someone else but the mechanic said it was the same brand he uses in his M3. In case you're wondering, I have a 2005 BMW Z4 3.0. I'm an I6 and this filter fits perfectly.
