Review on Saucony Women's Peregrine 10 Gore Tex Trail Running Shoe: Ultimate Performance and Waterproof Comfort by Mary Medema

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm a fan of the Saucony Peregrine

The Saucony Peregrine trail running shoe is about 5 years old and I me am a big fan of theirs so decided to try this waterproof pair for winter hikes and days when the trails are wet and muddy. The fit is a little roomier than the non-waterproof version but perfect for me as I still wear thicker wool socks for hiking in the colder months. So far the waterproofing has been quite good, although I don't recommend it for deep snow due to the constant cold and humidity seeping through. The only complaint I have so far is that my legs started to hurt constantly after the first 5 miles which has never been a problem with my peregrine falcons. Not sure if it's because the soles are stiffer in this version?
