I've been wearing a pair of Caldera 2 and Caldera 3 for the last 2 years. The new Caldera 4 left shoe hurts! After a 75 meter hike hoping they would break through I gave up. So disappointed! I was excited to try the new outsole - looks more durable. But the inside of my left foot rubs, the base of my thumb creaks. This summer I wanted to wear them on a hike in New Mexico. I need to go to my local running store and try something different. The Calderas were the only shoes that really fit. So sad.
