Don't buy this brand if you have Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 use expensive Mopar, you'll thank me later. Bought for prevention, the old one wasn't bad. Put it in and my power steering stopped working, the truck started but sounded like garbage and had no power steering. I've heard good things about SMP in Dodge Rams but I haven't had any luck with this sensor. The camshaft and crankshaft sensors are the two most important electronic devices in a car, so it is best to use these two sensors. Your engine will thank you. Put the old one back in and everything worked. I will soon be buying Mopar camshaft and crankshaft sensors for $60. I will return it as soon as possible. If I could give zero stars I would.
