So, full disclosure: I ordered 2 and couldn't get them to work. I thought they were just bad out of the box. Wanted to leave a bad review until the following happened. Ordered an OEM fob and key from a local locksmith. They spent hours programming the key fob but to no avail. He registered the key but didn't accept it. He spent 2 hours programming an OEM key with his very expensive programmer. Couldn't get it to work. Eventually he reset the immobilizer and erased all the keys and didn't take the keys with him. Even the original. He did some troubleshooting and found a blown fuse. Replaced the fuse and was able to program my original key and new OEM key. Did the programmer provided by the gatekeeper pull the fuse? Has the fuse already blown preventing me from programming the gatekeeper key? I do not know. I have returned them and at this point have already spent over Β£350 on a new OEM key, programmed and trimmed it. Hope this helps someone. This was on a 2006 Lexus IS350. It would be great if I could get it to work the first time.
