Works very well! If you can save money to buy this to clean your sponges and/or brushes I say go for it. If not, I would suggest sticking with the regular wash you use. If I'm on a budget I use either Elf detergent or just regular baby shampoo and they clean them just as well. I'll be using Dial's antibacterial soap on mine too just because I'm a bit of an OCD freak lol. After that I apply Elf Brush Conditioner or Sephora Brush Conditioner. But this cleaner works very well. Does what it's supposed to do with no ill effects on my brushes or sponges and I even use it on my velvet sponges with no problem. Yes, you benefit greatly from this bottle, but depending on how often you clean your brushes and sponges, the bottle can run out pretty quickly, especially if you're wearing darker makeup and trying to wash it off of lighter ones. colored sponge. I'm too lazy and impatient to sit there and soak mine in soapy water to get a darker base off the sponges I use or the tips of my white brushes. Too much work lol.
