Review on Mockins Carrier Hauling Folding Preserve Exterior Accessories by Major Genesis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The quality isn't the best, but the customer service was pretty good. The price is good too.

I encountered a number of minor issues: Firstly, poor finish in some places, one weld was not perfect, there were strange tool marks and some details did not match. correct for assembly. There was one major problem: when the basket is lowered, I cannot insert the locking pin. I emailed the company these issues and photos. (First I didn't use Revain's link). They didn't reply to that email but I got an immediate reply when I used the Revain link a few days later. They offered to replace the basket which would have been reasonable but as other people were having some of the same issues I declined that offer and asked for a partial refund instead. They quickly agreed. (I didn't want another basket, and the first one would have to be disposed of somehow. Also, I've already assembled and fixed it.) I expect it to rust fairly quickly (it has shown some rust after just one rain), but I think that the price for the money I ended up paying seems reasonable. The rubber pouch and net attachment system seem to be pretty good. I can solve the needle problem by making the hole a little bigger so I don't have to just throw something away (I hate waste). Would I buy it again? It's difficult to say. I really think I'll last a few years and even at full price it was the cheapest option (for the given features). If you're looking to buy one I'd suggest you consider slightly more expensive options unless you want something that might only be good for a couple of years. The savings for this item is that the customer service for the company is pretty good. Well. These are hard to come by and I give them credit for being honest and reasonable.
