Bad soldering caused the display to malfunction.
I thought the display was defective but upon investigation it turned out to be a bad solder joint with lots of flux that needed cleaning. If you don't remove the flux from the contacts on these displays, they may function erratically. That's why I'll probably choose another provider in the future, or just buy the I2C module and display separately and solder them myself.
- Compatible with all devices with I2C interfaces such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Beagle Bone Black, Tinker Board, stm32, esp32 and more.
