It took a minute to install and secure with the center screw. Mine is a bit crooked because the real socket is crooked (old building from the 1950s). Installed in the dining area as it turns into a workspace during the day. Works perfectly. No questions. I check it regularly and it's not getting hot (good sign). All standard plugs sit side by side, but bulky plugs from phone chargers and DC/DC converters limit usable space. In any case, not many people will be plugging everything in at once, so this isn't a problem. This block comes highly recommended.
