Very compact. It can be placed anywhere. It doesn't leak at all unless you leave the gasket exposed. To be honest I was hesitant to buy it due to not enough reviews so I bought two different brands. In the end I decided to keep this one (better materials, design and build quality) and brought back another one with two water outlets, which is also an important feature. Even though this toilet doesn't have two water outlets to remove the feces, it still works well. I am satisfied with this product during our camping trip
