Lifeguard - Curler

I am so impressed with this curling iron in so many ways. I would like to start by saying that the packaging it arrived in was so pretty that I was almost reluctant to rip it out of the box even though I was so excited to try it. It took me a minute to heat up the first time I used it, but over the next few uses it warmed up fairly quickly; like a minute or so. Also, the first time I used it was a little scary because I have long hair and was worried about it getting tangled in it, but this tool is surprisingly soft and doesn't pull at all. It takes some practice to get used to it. Some of my curls looked a bit weird, but I think I did my hair on the wrong side and pushed the opposite button. However, I got used to it pretty quickly. It usually takes me an hour to curl my hair with a curling iron on my thick, straight and long hair. Also, my arms get tired and the curls might last a few hours. It took me about 20 minutes with Lena's curlers and my hand didn't get tired at all. Not to mention the curls stay put! I would call it a success! If you're looking for "looser" curls or beachy waves, you might want to consider a different product, or at least read the guide on how to achieve that effect with this curling iron. It features very tight, bouncy curls that give you a "Hollywood curl". Not exactly what I need, but thanks to the ease of use and the polished look, I'm happy with it. Bottom line: if, like me, you hate spending too much time curling your hair, this will come to your rescue.
