keep the curtain open wide enough for the dog to go outside, too much light is coming in. The light reflected across the courtyard, straight into my face. Outside, by the dog door, the patio doors looked unbalanced. Until I complete it Two birds with one stone. There is no longer any bright light and the door looks like a stained glass pane. Nice. In fact, I received nice compliments from my neighbors. I used dark film on all windows on the west side of my previous rental home. Very difficult to put on. Sun heat caused peeling. Then I had to scrape off the film residue from the glasses when I moved. This film was very thin. This film has a heavier plastic weight and light texture inside. The slippery side snapped easily. However, it sticks quickly. If it needs to be moved, the entire part will need to be lifted, sprayed again with plenty of soap and water, and replaced. No big deal, it just takes a lot of time. The really negative thing I had (you really have to look at this) was that when I peeled off the backing and stopped to smooth the foil out, part of the backing touched the soap/water on the glass and got stuck! What a mess. I had to scrape the dirt off the window (which wasn't easy either), wash it again and start over. But I still recommend this product.
