Review on High Quality Maxell 639005 DVD+R Disc for Optimal Data Storage by Travis Flores

I had to burn some DVDs and needed cases for them as well. These DVD+Rs solved both problems. Nothing special about the cases. This is a thin jewelry box. Black plastic back with clear plastic front and folded paper insert with lines front and inside. The words "Maxell DVD+R" and "4.7GB/16x/2hrs SP" are printed on the front of the disc and you can see a purple-blue data layer on the back. I used 5 disks in Matshita. UJ-898 Laptop Recorder (15" MacBook Pro) and none of them were bad. For disc lovers, the disc carrier code was "RITEK F16". Note: For some reason Revain's "Technical Details" says that these discs are 4x while the product image shows "8x". The actual product I received from Revain was 16x. EDIT Oct 31, 2011: Revain seems to have finally corrected their product information and the photo now says "16x " correctly.
