These filters have done their job. We have been using our Dyson for almost 5 years without any maintenance. I decided on a new cordless vacuum cleaner V10 as a replacement because the hose on our old vacuum cleaner broke. (Everything worked fine but one of the clips broke and you had to hold the hose while using the attachments.) As the vacuum was very expensive and still worked we decided to give it to a family member. Not wanting to give away a broken vacuum cleaner, we set out to fix the broken part, found them and decided to tune the entire vacuum cleaner. MAN I wish I could think about that before I spend $800 on a new vacuum cleaner. About $45 later for these filters and a replacement hose and it's like we have a brand new vacuum. It's quieter and works better. I recommend it to anyone who has had a vacuum for a while and hasn't cleaned/replaced their filters. It's really very important.
